The Crisis Response Team will ensure that the proper personnel, resources, and equipment are available to manage any emergency that may occur. The purpose of this team is to create and maintain a multi-agency team that will coordinate total emergency response. The primary goals are public safety, agency cooperation, emergency responder safety and proper mitigation of emergencies.<br>&nbsp;<br> </td></tr> <tr><td ><font size="+1"><b><u>SCOPE OF OPERATION</u></b></font></td> </tr> <tr><td >The Crisis Response Team will provide and manage specialized resources during times of crisis. A crisis may be defined as an event that cannot be managed by on-duty resources. A crisis may also be defined as an event that affects large areas of the parish, incidents on the river, hazardous materials incidents, etc. A listing (not exclusive) of targeted types of incidents is listed below. If there are questions as to the incident actually being one of the targeted scenarios, the on-duty dispatchers shall contact the Team Managers for a final determination.
