Narcotics Division
The West Feliciana Parish Sheriff's Narcotics Division is comprised of 3 agents: Capt. Archer Lee, Lt. Chris Green and Sgt. Jamey Daniel. They conduct covert operations and Highway Interdiction in conjunction with the Delta Narcotics Task Force which is a multi-jurisdictional Task Force that includes Baker, Zachary, Pointe Coupee and East & West Feliciana. Their main objective is fighting drug problems in our area. This division also conducts Drug Seminars on a regular basis at our schools and also with various other organizations.
West Feliciana currently has 2 K-9s in use with the Department. Lt. Chris Green of the Narcotics Division is the coordinator of "K-9 Boyd" and Sgt. Jamey Daniel is the coordinator of "K-9 Rebel". All of the dogs are trained in Narcotics Detection and Criminal Tracking and Apprehension. These officers, with help of Dog Trainers Bill Morgan and Johnny Bert Dixon, are in the process of training additional dogs.
