The Sheriff’s Office is comprised of the Administration, Civil, Criminal and Prevention divisions. The Administration division handles the business functions of the Sheriff's Office. The Civil division is responsible for performing the tax-collection duties of the Office. The Criminal division is the law-enforcement branch, and comprises the largest amount of employees and duties. The Prevention division handles such programs as TRIAD, D.A.R.E and School Resources.
