CRIMINAL DIVISION

The West Feliciana Parish Sheriff's Office Criminal Division is composed of Deputies and Detectives. The primary function of the Criminal Division is law enforcement: responding to citizen's calls for assistance, traffic law enforcement through pro-active traffic stops, investigation of crimes committed, and crime prevention through public education such as the DARE program.
Other special units include Narcotic and K-9, a Special Crisis Response , a D.A.R.E program, a Crisis Response Program, a Detention Center, a Grants Division, Homeland Security Division and Communications The Criminal Division is led by Colonel Randy Metz, Chief Criminal Deputy. The Sheriff's Office also dedicates manpower and resources to participation in the parish wide Drug Task Force.
